Business and Contact Enrichment

As your Contacts grow, you can now optimize your data using the Enrichment Feature in Capsule. This can help enrich your Contacts by pulling in relevant information and statistics for your saved records.

This article will explain how to enrich People and Organization records, to get the extra insight you need at a glance.

Business Enrichment

To pull in Company information and data for an Organization, you will need a company email associated with the Organization records saved in your Capsule account.

Once information for an Organization has been found for a record, you can see this displayed in the right-hand panel when viewing its record in Capsule. You can find information categories like industry, employee range/number of employees, location, estimated annual revenue, company tags, and more.

Person Enrichment for Contacts

While company information for your Organization records is pulled automatically by the Enrichment feature - enriching your People records in Capsule will need to be done on a case-by-case basis. Enriching a person can find and display information for a Contact, including basic contact details, company information, job role, LinkedIn profile and more.

How to enable Personal Enrichment for Contacts

An Administrator will first need to make sure the Personal Enrichment for Contacts is enabled. To do this:

  1. In Capsule, go to Account Settings
  2. Click on Capsule AI
  3. Under the Contact Enrichment section, use the check box for Enable Contact Enrichment (depending on your preference)
  4. Save your changes

How to Enrich a Person

Once the Personal Enrichment for Contacts has been enabled, you can then enrich a Person record:

  1. Navigate in Capsule to the person record you want to enrich
  2. In the right panel, you'll see the Enrichment section (with no information currently listed)
  3. Click the option Enrich Contact

Using Enrichment data

Once a Person or Organization record is enriched in Capsule, you may have some fields that you'd like to update on the record itself.

To help, there is a quick Copy button next to any individual field of information in the Enrichment section. This allows you to copy that information and paste it into a field whilst editing the Contact.

These columns can also be added to the List View for easy viewing - read more on adding and removing columns here.

There is also the option to filter for some of these Enrichment Categories within Capsule. For example, you can filter by Company Tags, Sub industry or by the number of employees at the company.
