How much will I be billed?

You are billed for all pending, active and suspended users on your account on the billing day. Deleted users are not included.

Subscriptions are paid monthly in advance and new users added through the month will be covered by this subscription.

When will I get billed?

Subscriptions are paid monthly in advance:

  • If you open a new professional account, you get a 30-day trial period before your first payment.
  • If you convert from a free account to the professional account, your first payment will be on the date of transfer.

Who gets the monthly invoice?

We email an invoice to the account owner each time we bill your credit card.

Note: Capsule emails this to the account owner's first listed email address. To change this, click My settings > Summary > edit.

How do I upgrade to the professional edition?

The account owner can upgrade your account to the professional edition by clicking Settings > Account and click Upgrade. Enter your billing details and then confirm by clicking Accept Upgrade button.

Note: You will be billed immediately for the first month.

How does the professional edition 30 day trial work?

You have the opportunity to trial the professional edition for 30 days utilising all the features available, including integrations.

Enter all your account owner information on signup; including your payment details. You get an email warning 10 days before the 30 day trial is over.

Note: If you cancel your account any time within the 30 days you will not be billed.

Why was I charged on the professional edition in the first 30 days?

When you upgrade from the Free edition you are billed immediately for the first month's subscription.

How do I change my credit card?

To change your subscription payments, click on Settings > Account and Change Payment Card.

How do I downgrade my account to a free version?

The account owner is responsible for downgrading from a professional account to a free version, by clicking on Settings > Account. Check that your data is within the free version limits before proceeding. Capsule shows your current system usage:

If required, you have to manually delete users, data stored or contacts before downgrading. Capsule will automatically stop integration to an accounting system.

When the limits are met click Downgrade to convert to the Free Edition.

How do I cancel my account?

The account owner can cancel at any time by following these steps:

  • Click on Settings > Account and click Cancel account:
  • If you have installed Capsule via the Google Apps Marketplace you will also need to delete the Capsule integration from your Google Apps Domain. To do this navigate to the Capsule settings in your Google Apps dashboard and follow the Delete Application link.

Summary of Cancellation Policy

  • Your Capsule account will be immediately cancelled and you will not pay any further subscriptions.
  • Any data in your account will be permanently deleted. There is no undo. Make sure you export your data before cancellation if required.
  • If you cancel before your 30 day free trial ends you will not be charged.
